   High Voltage Engineering

The subject introduces students with high voltage technique from its power engineering applications point of view. It brings information about high voltage test sources and possibilities of high voltages and heavy currents measurements. It informs about high voltage insulation systems and methods for determining their states. There are explained particular types of electrical discharges and possibilities of their elimination. Practical seminars are based on measurements in the high voltage laboratory.
